Delta5 Resources is owned by Alex Dunmire, a Certified Service-Disabled Veteran. Alex is a retired Lieutenant Commander, Naval Intelligence Officer with 22 years of service at both Officer and Enlisted ranks. His last 11 years of active duty were counterterrorism focused with numerous deployments to Middle East and Afghanistan.
After retirement, Alex established the Tampa Office of a large defense contractor and expanded its operations globally. He successfully won and managed a diversified product portfolio worth over $150M of US Government and commercial business. Under Alex’s leadership building a strong employee culture, the business unit he leads was named one of the Top Work Places in Tampa for seven consecutive years – 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Alex graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, with a B.S. in Business Management.
